The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration is once again coordinating a National RX Take Back Initiative. It is Saturday, October 29th from 10 am – 2 pm. The DEA's website includes a searchable database of take back locations (there are many locations in WV) and materials for planning and marketing a take back event at the local level.
WV’s Take Care RX Prevention Campaign website (http://www.takecarewv.org) also has many resources that can complement RX take back initiatives. Consider, for example, printing some of the various “Please don’t share RX drugs.” or “Proper RX Disposal” flyers to handout at your local event.
